Lisa M. Slotnick
Attorney at Law
I graduated Magna Cum Laude with College Honors
and Honors in Psychology, from the University of
Toledo. Thereafter, I attended law school and received
my law degree from The Ohio State University Moritz
College of Law.
After law school, I worked for The Legal Aid Society
of Columbus for three years as a staff attorney representing
clients who were victims of domestic violence in
divorce and custody cases. Then I opened up my own
private practice in German Village. Currently, I
practice in the areas of domestic relations, estate
planning, and probate law.
I have had over sixty hours of training as a mediator.
I am also trained to mediate divorce and custody
cases and am a Franklin County Domestic Court approved
mediator. I also volunteer as a Franklin County Juvenile
Victim-Offender Mediation Program mediator.
I belong to the Columbus Bar Association and I am
a member of their Family Law Committee and their
Probate Law Committee. I am also a Board member of
the organization, Collaborative Divorce Professionals,
Inc.
In my spare time, I enjoy running around parks and
trails throughout Columbus. I run half marathons
and the occasional marathon throughout the year.
My husband provides the necessary support for all
of my long runs and we enjoy traveling to various
venues for my runs.
I am also a Buckeye fan and enjoy attending Buckeye
football games in the fall.
